Wild Birds

Feeding wild birds should be part of every gardener's essential 'To Do' jobs in the garden. Birds not only provide beauty and song to a garden, they are also the best form of natural pest control. Many wild birds will eat insects, worms, aphids, caterpillars, slugs and other pests that destroy leaves and roots. Larger crows will even eat mice. Yes, some birds can be pesky and eat seeds that are sown near the top of soil, but finches and sparrows will also eat weed seeds!

We have a range of articles about attracting and caring for wild birds.
